The Music City Central opened in the fall of 2008 and while the rest of the country was in a recession, Nashville was just starting to boom. The transit station is located next to Municipal Auditorium and is bordered by 4th and 5th Avenues North on Charlotte Avenue in downtown Nashville’s Central Business District.
MCC has a strong musical theme from a concert stage shaped like a base guitar that anchors one end of a landscaped public area to concrete floors with inlays of sheet music depicting familiar Nashville and Tennessee songs. There is also a landscaped plaza with public art sculptures, walkways and seating areas, as well as vehicle parking levels designated by musical instruments.
The station serves up to 20,000 passengers each weekday. MCC contains space for all downtown transit operations, including space for buses and passengers, climate-controlled waiting rooms, restrooms and small retail businesses, including Dunkin’ Donuts and the Music City Market. There are nearby arts and entertainment venues that include Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum, Tennessee State Museum, the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Your out-of-home media plan will reach thousands of daily commuters and those traveling to nearby businesses and retail establishments.
We offer unique transit advertising options both inside and outside of MCC to reach commuters and daylong car and pedestrian traffic on this busy corner. Options include advertising on windows, stairs, poles located throughout the facility, and signage throughout.
